Quadruple up for $125
By the time I caught up to the preflop action, tehre's been some betting, the blinds had folded, there was Victor Paredes all-in UTG for 23,225, the player on Victor's left undershoved all-in, Mike Jobe (above) announced he was undershoving all-in and Jerry Utke was on the button also considering an undershove all-in (editor's note: undershove = moving all in for less than the existing bet, copyright MontanaMatt 2014).
OK, got all that?
Good, because Utke called and now it is time to show all four hands.
Paredes -
Shortstack -
Jobe -
Utke -
So, we have AKs v. AKo v. 66 v. 24o .. your normal, everyday 4-way all-in for a 70,000 pot with blinds at 75/150.
The flop is , TopTop and backdoor flush draws for both players holding AK, bottom set for Jobe and a backdoor straight draw for Utke.
Yep, everyone is live with semi-decent draws as well.
The turn is , the flush draws are gone, the straight draw is gone, no vers are good, everyone is drawing dead to Jobe and the only question left is whether the shortstack or Jobe has more chips to see if that player and Paredes have any chips to split a sidepot.
Nope, Jobe has him covered, Jobe pretty much quadruples up, Paredes has 8k left and there's two knockouts.
"I had to call," said Jobe, "I am looking to quadruple up for $125."
We now return you to your regularly scheduled poker tournament .. and that took so long to write up that a LevelUP took place, so action is now at
Level - 4
Blinds - 100/200
Antes - 25
Entries - 71
