The Door Just Opened Wider

@TurlockPoker series points leader Armando Perez is out of the Main Event - the last event of teh series - without making the money, so two players can overtake Perez for the overall title.

Tim Weimer (above) and Ken Kajioka (below) are the Last Players Standing to take home one Turlock Poker Room tournament entry for one full year.

Here are the current standings
Perez - 302
Weimer - 204.7
Kajioka - 188.5

Main Event points go like this
1st - 140
2nd - 98
3rd - 70
4th - 62.6

Due to the points left to be won, Kajioka has to win the Main Event to take the series title with 328.5 points. If he finishes second, he ends up with 286.5, just 15.5 points shy of the title.

Weimer, however, overtakes Perez by seven-tenths of a point if Weimer finishes second, 302.7 to 302 - as long as Kajioka does not win. A win by Weimer gives him 344.7.

Should Kajioka and Weimer end up playing heads-up for the main event title, winner of that match is the series champion.

Level - 18
Blinds - 2500/5000
Antes - 500
Players Left - 36
