That Was Good, or Bad


All in with AK, a flop of K-Q-K should look really good to anyone, right?

Yep, Gary Grant sure felt that way, or would have if his opponent was not holding Q-Q and flopped a boat.

Then there was the case Q on the turn, Grant turned a boat but ran into quads and lost all his chips.

This started a fast exist as Grant went out in 21st place, and before I could write this, the field was down to 18, two 9-handed tables, with the likes of Conor Henderson, Brent Bixby, Leslie Hartman, John Rogers, Mike Jobe, JR Hernandez, Ken Kajioka, Tracey Evans and Simon Salas still in the hunt for one of the nine cash places, the Series Champion points and the $2,488 up top.
