Tim Weimer and Vincent Chung are out before the money in today's $115 with $50 Bounties - the final preliminary event in the 2017 Championship Series. Both players are also mathematically eliminated from the Player of the Series race.
Weimer had current points-leader Mike Jobe all in and covered, but Jobe's pocket Nines held, leaving Weimer short-stacked and eventually out before the money.
The last two Series Champions and Jobe are the only three players who still can take this year's title.
2015 Series Champ Damion Underwood has a very slim title shot, needing Jobe to miss the money AND to have back-to-back top-4 finishes.
Defending Series Champ Armando Perez just eliminated yet another player and may be the chipleader here with 13 players left. Jobe needs a first or second tonight to officially eliminate Perez before the Main Event begins.
