2014 @TurlockPoker Championship Series Main Event champ Mai Xiong (above) stacked up early, kept slowly building throughout the day, never faced a point where her stack was seriously threatened, and finished Day 1B as the overall chipleader with 197,500.
Others were not as lucky, especially in the last 5-6 hands of the night where there were multiple all-ins, sending 4 players to the cage to buy in for Saturday's final starting flight.
Ed Miller and Jerry Utke survived but took big hits the final few hands, while the likes of Nabil Esho, Tony Le, Armando Perez, Damion Underwood, Greg White, Tou Xiong, Erin Fyfe, Victor Paredes, Brent Bixby, Ben Silva, JR Hernandez and Jimmy Alvares didn't make the bag-n-tag.
