Cheri Svensen - a @TurlockPoker regular who has a number of wins here - was runner-up last week in the WSOP Circuit Ladies Event at Harvey's in Lake Tahoe, and she was not the only one from Turlock Poker Room at that final table. Chrissy Merafuentes - winner of yesterday's Event 3 in our Championship Series - placed 9th in the 90-player Circuit Ladies Event field.
I would provide more details here about how that tourney went - and give links back so you could read all about it yourselves - but the WSOP Live Updates team provided only a 51-word photo caption underneath the winner's photo as the entire tournament coverage.
Cheri is here today in Event 5 of the Champoionship Series, the $125 Hold'em with a $5,000 guarantee that's already been covered.
